WORLDTAB

Delete Your Data

Last updated: July 11, 2026

WorldTab, developed by Kyle Zhu, lets you delete specific data without deleting your entire account. This page explains what you can remove and how.

Delete a Single Transaction

  1. Open the Records tab.
  2. Find the entry you want to remove and tap the trash icon on that entry.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

This permanently removes that entry from your device, and from our servers within 30 days if you have cloud sync enabled.

Delete a Ledger

  1. Go to Settings → Ledgers.
  2. Select the ledger you want to remove and choose delete.
  3. Confirm the deletion. All transactions, categories, and budgets belonging to that ledger are removed with it. (You must keep at least one ledger.)

Delete Recurring Rules, Budgets, or Custom Categories

These can each be removed individually from their respective settings screens (Settings → Recurring, Settings → Category, or the budget screen), without affecting the rest of your data or your account.

Clear All Local Data (Guest Mode)

If you're using WorldTab without an account, all data lives only on your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing the app's storage from your device's system settings, permanently erases it.

Request Deletion Without App Access

If you can't access the app but want specific data deleted from our servers, email [email protected] from the email address on your account, describing what you'd like removed. We will process the request within 30 days.

To delete your entire account instead, see our account deletion page.
