This page explains how to permanently delete your WorldTab account and all data associated with it. WorldTab is developed by Kyle Zhu.
How to Request Deletion
Account deletion is available directly inside the app:
- Open the WorldTab app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account near the bottom of the page.
- Confirm the action when prompted. This step cannot be undone.
If you're unable to sign in but still want your account and data deleted, email us at [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, and we will process the deletion manually.
What Gets Deleted
- Your login credentials and account profile (email, nickname, avatar).
- All financial records synced to the cloud: transactions, ledgers, categories, budgets, recurring rules, and payment methods.
- Your subscription status record (this does not cancel an active App Store/Play Store subscription — see below).
What Is Retained
- Data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days of your request, except where retention is required by law (e.g. transaction records needed for financial dispute resolution or fraud prevention).
- Anonymous, aggregated analytics that cannot be tied back to you may be retained indefinitely.
- Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Premium subscription. Cancel it separately from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store subscriptions page to stop future billing.
Guest Mode Data
If you used WorldTab without creating an account, your data was stored only on your device and was never sent to our servers — simply uninstalling the app removes it completely.
